About Dr Sarah O’Neill

General Urological & Robotic Kidney Surgeon
Dr Sarah O’Neill is a consultant urologist with sub-specialty interest in robotic, as well as some laparoscopic and open kidney surgery as well as all aspects of general urology.
Dr O’Neill grew up locally and completed her medical degree at the University of Western Australia, graduating in 2010. She worked across Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia as a junior doctor and during surgical training, completing her FRACS in Urology in 2020 with a general and robotic fellowship at University Hospital Geelong. Dr O’Neill then trained for a year in the United Kingdom where she completed a Royal College of Surgeons England accredited Robotic Oncology Fellowship in renal cancer at Frimley Park Hospital, Frimley Renal Cancer Centre. There she trained with high volume retroperitoneal robotic kidney surgeons. She was also an honorary fellow at Royal Marsden Hospital in open renal surgery.
As a part of her professional affiliations, she regularly attends conferences and continuing medical education programs, ensuring that her patients receive the most up-to-date practices. Dr O’Neill also participates in teaching and mentorship of medical students from both West Australian medical schools as well as the training Registrars in Urology.
Dr O’Neill returned to Perth with her young family in 2022 and holds a public consultant urologist position at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and works privately at Hollywood Hospital. She loves spending time with her husband and three young children and going on adventures with them.
